About this tool

How Migration Batch Planner works

Enter the scope and timing of your migration, how complex your users are (VIPs, delegates, shared calendars) and the shared resources between teams. The planner proposes a pilot batch, a VIP batch and the remaining batches, sized to your migration window.

Keeping people who share mailboxes, calendars and sites in the same batch avoids the broken-access problems that make a migration feel worse than it is.

Questions

Does it connect to either tenant?

Nothing. You answer questions from what you know about your tenant, or can check in the admin centres; the tool doesn't sign in to Microsoft 365 or read anything from it.

Where do my answers go?

Your answers stay in your browser and are worked out there. The site only counts, anonymously, that the tool was opened, finished or downloaded.
